Look Who's Talking/Reading
Nadira is learning to read.
Seeing how caught up her parents are with thick paperbacks (that would be me; daddy's reading from his BRAND NEW Dopod), she's been lugging books to and fro the study room at an attempt to be a bookworm.
During an activity in school today, her teacher had asked every student to write their mother's fullname, complete with Binte xxx. As the teacher went around asking, she came to Nadira and asked for my name. Nadira, being Nadira replied my shortname - Ida. When asked "Ida Binte ???", after a long thoughtful silence, she gave the answer, "Ida Binte Yayi lah!"
