I have decided to call it quits here.

After weighing the pros and cons of going fully password protect and post protect, with the help of katak, I have found a blog host which has all the features I need. Never mind that I can't change the css stylesheet to my preference since I'm using its webhosting services but as long as there are certain posts which I'd rather keep under wraps to certain viewers only possibility due to undisclosed content, wordpress is a good choice. After all, with all the hoo haas on content which shouldn't be disclosed to public and that katak got a comment from a prankster posing as our boss, public updates on work and sensitive stuff cannot be posted to everyone anymore. Hence the move.
