The Voluble, Inconsequential Rattles of a Monyot Mommy

So many things happened past 3 weeks but hubby has been most rajin to update. Heh.

Hubby is on leave de-stressing himself off work. We had initially planned to go overseas but decided against it as I had little leave left and I was planning on moving on to another co. Though he just got his bonus, we've got so many bills and loans to pay, we were practically back to ground zero now. Can't spend much as we need to save up with Ramadhan and Syawal approaching in a couple of months' time and probably for a short weekend getaway, possibly to Bintan. House is not fully furnished yet and I plan to buy house stuff when I go KL with the girls in September. Counting the days.

Hubby told me during one of the grocery shopping trips with Kakak, she sprechen ze english so perfectly, a Chinese auntie got really impressed. I told hubby to try get her to say M E L O R O T in malay. It was a huge failure. The word always ended up as M E R O L O T. This arab has got alphabets L-R crisis.

Nuqman has ulcers in his mouth now and for the past 2 days he's been cranky as hell. Poor boy refused to eat thanks to the pain and finds comfort in sucking ice and cold stuff which numbed the ulcers. MIL suggested making ice blended ribena for him since the ice cold slurpee does wonders to ease his pain. Ni sume gara gara tak makan sayur-aka-alien lah. Asik "Eeeee alien alien" (referring to the veges) kan, RASAIN LU!

Amira's getting very very active. So active that she refused to sleep and keeps climbing up and down my body JUST when I was about to DOZE OFF! DUH! I can't sleep knowing she could be up to mischief pulling pieces of tissue out of the tissue box, messing up the whole area, or switching the main switches on and off or even knock on the folded toilet door until the door opens up for her to enter. I really wonder why she's sooooo interested in the toilet, of all places. There's nothing there for you to eat babe!

I should be starting my practicals pretty soon. Getting pretty excited about it.

By the way! The night I was deciding as to whether I should accept the new offer, I had a pregnancy test done. Yes, the kit marcie passed me months and months ago, has yet to be used. So feeling confident and experienced, I proceeded as usual. Unfortunately, after 5 minutes of waiting, the results did not appear. I read the instructions and found to my horror, I had placed the 3 drops of urine in the wrong hole! Of course the urine in the wrong hole got absorbed and the correct one turned purple! I forced myself to urinate, and finally after a good 10 minutes, using the same kit, placed 3 drops of urine in the correct hole. The results turned invalid with no lines. I've tested neither POSITIVE nor NEGATIVE for pregnancy! Selenger kan????!!! I've wasted a perfectly good kit and now I have to get another. Need to make a trip down Mustafa Centre soon for cheap cheap test kits. Just in case. Heh.
